The Uue-Põltsamaa Manor complex is undergoing a comprehensive revitalization that blends historical preservation with modern design. Located on the picturesque bank of the River Põltsamaa, directly across from the Põltsamaa Castle, the manor’s 18th-century setting is scenic and historically significant. The adjacent Uue-Põltsamaa Manor Park provides the estate with a serene and picturesque backdrop.
The main manor house will be meticulously restored to retain its historical integrity while incorporating contemporary amenities. The ground floor will feature a restaurant and workspaces, providing a dynamic and functional space for guests. The upper floor will be transformed into elegant hotel rooms, offering a unique blend of historical charm and modern comfort.
A modern glass lobby gallery will connect the main house to the service house, accommodating additional services, workspaces, offices, and service rooms. Extending from the service house, another glass gallery will lead to a newly constructed three-floor hotel building. This building will feature rooms surrounding a lush green courtyard, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. Adjacent to this, a state-of-the-art spa with pools and saunas will offer a perfect relaxation retreat for both guests and the local community.
The design concept integrates modern architecture with historic preservation, using contemporary materials that complement the traditional aesthetics of the manor. The central green courtyard will serve as the heart of the new hotel building, fostering a sense of tranquillity and a deep connection with nature.
Throughout the planning and development process, the design emphasizes the seamless integration of new structures with the historical elements of the manor, ensuring a harmonious blend of old and new. The revitalized Uue-Põltsamaa Manor will stand as a testament to thoughtful preservation and innovative design, promising a unique blend of history, relaxation, and natural beauty.
