A 1920s stable has been carefully transformed into a modern farmhouse, blending historic charm with thoughtful contemporary design. The original stone walls, rich with character and history, have been preserved and now serve as the foundation for a new vision. This transformation celebrates the past while embracing the needs of modern living.

Inside, the design creates a sense of openness and light, with a soaring two-storey living room framed by expansive glazing. Natural light flows through the home, enhancing the warm textures and carefully curated materials that balance rustic authenticity with modern elegance. The layout seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces, with a private courtyard enclosed by the original walls providing a tranquil retreat that is both intimate and connected to its surroundings.

The material palette weaves together the old and the new, combining stone, wood, and contemporary finishes in a way that feels timeless and inviting. Every element of the design was crafted with respect for the building’s heritage, ensuring that its history continues to be part of its story. This home reflects how history and modernity can coexist in harmony.
