The interior architectural design for Narva Old Town State School is presented, transforming this historic school into a vibrant educational environment that harmonises tradition with modern needs. The clear layout and strong character of the building will be preserved, with classrooms positioned along the perimeter and corridors opening into a tranquil inner courtyard.

Archways are incorporated into the design to enhance aesthetics and create intimate gathering spaces, allowing natural light to flood the corridors. Key features, such as thick corridor walls and original doorways, will be retained to ensure the historical essence of the school remains intact.

Carefully selected materials, including durable ceramic tiles and natural wood, are chosen to create an inviting atmosphere, complemented by a calming pastel palette inspired by the local landscape. Flexible spaces are designed to support various teaching methodologies, providing areas for quiet study and active recreation.

A commitment to sustainability is emphasised through the use of eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient systems. The revitalised Narva Old Town State School is envisioned as a vital community hub, enriching the educational landscape of Narva while honouring its rich history.
